Any one know what how i can take an exam for cna?

HI.. guys, i'm looking for a help or any suggestion, i'm graduated CNA in my country Philippines and now i'm living here in the usa with my husband, is there any one can give me an idea if i can apply here as CNA although i'm not graduated here in usa? some peaople said i should take an exam to be a register usa license so i'll be able to work as CNA, please tell me where i have to go for assesment my credential here in the usa and what kind of exam i will be taken? pls. any one help me? will much appreciate the help.. thank u..

CNAs are generally regulated by the State in which you live. Each state has different requirements that you must meet before you take the exam. Most require a state approved course of something like 120 hours (some more and some less).

For example, I am in Wisconsin. I took a Wisconsin State approved CNA course (about $300). Then I applied to my State to get permission to take the exam.

I doubt there are many states that will take a qualification from outside the country, if any. Again it depends where you live.

thank u for taking time to response.. i might gonna take the CNA here and to re-fresh aswell and will be able to find a job. just bit feel frustrated couse i cann't apply my course here as i have to go back to shool and yake this course again..
