When looking for a CNA program, what sort of things should I be looking out for? Other than accreditation, of course. Are some schools more reputable than others? Do hospitals/LTCs care about where you get your training?

I'd look for whether it's free or not. Some programs charge 700-800 bucks for a course, which is outrageous in my opinion. I'm pretty sure hospitals/LTCs don't care where you get your training.

Thanks, this helps a lot! How difficult do you think the subject matter is? Does it require a lot of studying outside of the classroom?
