what to do for an interview at nursing home

Nursing Students CNA/MA

I just got a call from this nursing home I applied for.

But... I have no idea of what to wear, what to say, or anything.

Only job I ever had, they didn't care.

They just hired me in the spot.

Help?

Specializes in LTC.

Dress nice. Dress pants, skirt, nice shirt.

Be confident.

Expect questions such as "Tell me about a time where you went above and beyond at work."

"Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a co-worker and how did you work through it."

Specializes in Med-Surg/urology.

Great tips:up: Also expect "why do you want to work here?" & ask questions at the end, it shows interest in the position. Good luck :)
