starting my CNA program next Tuesday!

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

i've been a lurker here for quite sometime and finally gave in to posting!

i'm starting my CNA class june 23rd @ the columbus public schools adult education program (aka: ACE). i'm SUPER excited, nervous, anxious, etc. i am fortunate that my parents are covering the $600+ tuition, scrubs, physical, background check, etc. :heartbeat them! i am taking this class in order to continue on to the ACE LPN program and then; LPN-RN program --> RN-BSN program.

speaking of which, any good recs for LPN-RN programs in the central ohio area? i've heard *rumors* that the ACE lpn program has a bridge set up with chamberlain and hocking as well. any info on that?

i'm curious if there is anyone else on here that has taken the STNA class here and what the "uniform" consists of? i emailed the program coordinator to see about scrub color/style and was told to wait until after the first day of class. which, isn't a problem except i'm a plus-sized girlie and i'm afraid i'll have to order my scrubs online and won't get them in enough time :icon_roll .

SORRY, rambling and lots of questions! :lol2:

$3000...........thats how much my LVN program cost

Wow again! Mine will be around $10,000. What a difference!

haha nursing school is ridiculous.

i guess it all depends where you live... ?

my CNA class is in thousand oaks and i heard the cost of living around there is insane. maybe that has something to do with the $3000 tuition.
