Question about becoming CNA

Nursing Students CNA/MA

I have an important question. I want to get my cna license. I currently live in california and will be moving to washington in a year. Due to my husband being in the military. If I take the classes now in CA and get licensed will I be able to change the license over to WA? Or can I take the classes here in a few months and apply for the license right in WA? Or should I just wait until I get to washington? If anyone knows or knows who I could talk to, to find out I would really appreciate it.

I would contact the Board of Health in WA, check the website or go to http://www.prometric.com/NurseAide/default.htm and check the washington page. You could get your lic and be getting experience etc in a year.

Good luck in whatever you decide! :)

I agree, if you have the time and money do it now. That way you will not have to look for schools when you get there. In your new area the shcool may not be close or it could be expensive who knows. So if you up for it go now. GOOD LUCK!
