I have to become certified by June and am going to school full time so I don't have time to drive to another location and go to class everyday. Any help would be much appreciated!

- Dec 9, '12 by adoRNo2b2015CNA programs are not provided online as far as I know. If you can't take classes you can challenge the state exam which is required to get your license. But classes or no classes you still have to pass the written exam and then take the clinical skills test which obviously you have to perform in front of the examiner. CNA training usually takes 6 weeks and you can go for either 4 hours in the am or at night time. Good luck.

Because you must perform for an examiner, you probably should have some practice at doing those skills as competently as possible... and that's not something people normally can just do on their own without some guided practice.
- Dec 9, '12 by irisheyesRsmilinif I recall correctly, or maybe it is just for my state, but we had to have a required amount of clinical and classroom hours in. If we had to miss a class due to extreme reason we were forced to sit in on another class in order to make up those hours.....
