I really need help figuring this out.
I recently accepted a job offer at a local hospital. I currently work at a LTC facility making $11.20 an hour, with a .40 cent shift differential for PMs and NOCs. The new position sent me an email with more information regarding the position, and forms to fill out. In the information they sent me, it says that my pay will be $16.02 an hour. To me, it sounds like it could be a typo? I have less than one year of CNA experience. This hospital also offers shift differentials of $1.25 for PMs and $2.50 for NOCs. I am hired to work mostly NOCs and some PMs. So if I am correct, I would be making $18.52 an hour when I work NOCs?! It is possible that she added the $2.50 shift differential into my hourly age i suppose, but normally places dont do that?
