- Mar 4 by Dcmom[QUOTE=Twinkle007;6499018]it's a bit far from my area , I live near by Burbank/Glendale , but the price is gr8. You have to add cost of state exam ,books I guess, maybe malpractice , I dont know about stethoscope , or cuffs -probably they will have it. When are you planning to attend?[/QUOT
Hi have you gone through american red cross cna class??? can you tell me more about it? - Mar 4 by MiiiilkNo kidding?!?! Utah'n here and the course I took cost me a whole whopping $350 (but $70 out for the test bringing roughly $420) and the course itself was 1 week long with 10 hour classes each day. It was a crapload of class to swallow no doubt but a week after the class was over I was certified
we've even had wanderers from our class hail in from California as well! Stayed in a hotel until everything completed
might be worth looking in to!
- Mar 8 by Twinkle007yes I have , it was overall a very positive experience, we had clinicals in convalescent hospital and I really liked the place. Class was small , 16/17 ppl , we got books , stethoscope , cuffs , uniforms ; we had 2-3 tests weekly after the program was over we took a board exam written and prcatical. We had 2 teachers (RN for theory and LVN for clinical) What else do you want to know?

- Mar 11 by Twinkle007It took me about 1,5- 2 months (?) with everything boards & training, but I had to wait more than 2 months for my certification to come by mail. I have never worked as a CNA bc I got into nursing program .

thank you twinkle thats all i need to know for now. - Mar 14 by adoRNo2b2015Whoa! $2800 for a CNA class? That's a LOT of $. Back in 2009 when I started as a CNA I payed maybe $700 for 6 weeks of training, and book. They have us a CPR training also. Separately I payed for scrubs, a stethoscope, and the state exam was $127 I think. I'm in Florida by the way.
