I need help, will someone answer me.

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

I'm like freaking out here because I have already started CNA class and was told that I had to have the 3rd hepatitis B shot done with by the time clinicals start.

I had my first HP shot on 3/12/13

I had my second HP shot on 4/9/13

My BIG question is, whats the soonest I can have my third HP shot on?

I was told by the nurse that gave me the second shot that I could get the 3rd one after eight weeks have past from the date of the second shot (4/9/13). (which is why I went ahead and started CNA class knowing that eight weeks would go by before clinicals started)

Can someone PLEASE confirm this because I'm reading online diferent things about the time frame and I already enrolled and have already started (and PAID for) CNA class BASED on what the nurse said.

Thank you for any information.....

I received my series recently at my place of employment, and each shot was exactly one month apart. And it was optional, I had the choice of signing a waiver to refuse.

I thought it was six months later for the third shot? Are you positive that you have to be DONE with the series? My ADN program just wants proof that you are in the process.
