Do CNA's work in Hospice?

  1. 0 Do CNA's work in Hospice? When my father-in-law was in hospice care, a CNA took care of him. I was wondering if this is a pretty common thing or is it usually darn near impossible to get a job as a CNA in Hospice?
    Thanks, Again!

CNA services should be offered to all hospice patients. I'm not sure where you live. I worked for Alegent Hospice in Omaha, and Tabitha Hospice out of Grand Island. It might be difficult, just because CNA's in a homecare setting seem to stick around. It's a more desired job than working in a nursing home.

I thought that that was the case. I was just curious - I'd love to work in hospice one day. =)
