CNA/RNA

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

Hi there ,

i m new here. i just finished my CNA training and passed the State Board Exam (CA).

and looking for job now but scared of job as CNA after reading many stories here. So planing to do RNA restorative nursing assistant. Is any body is doing that ....?

Depending on where you work as an RA/RNA, you will probably be doing many of the same tasks as a CNA, just not on as many residents. At my facility, the RAs do the same ADLs such as dressing, toileting, etc., on people who are there for rehab. They also do ROM exercises and practice the same ADLs with our long-term residents. So, if its the CNA skills that are scaring you, RNA probably won't be much better.

You may or may not find many people on here that are RNAs. I have no idea why, but for some strange reason, everywhere I've worked, RNAs get shunned from the nursing crowd and get looked at as "therapy people" (anyone else see it too?).

oh thanks dear,

i dont know what gonna happen to me...? anyway i will keep posting ...!
