Cna jobs in Los Angeles

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Hi everyone, I would like to know if there is a CERTAIN thing I am not doing here in Los Angeles to get a CNA Job, I have interview after interview and no one has hired me. I am on the registry so I am certified, I have been a CNA in good standing for years, I have experience in acute nursing care, Skilled nursing , LTC, memory care and (hospital care for a year though the agency I worked for) it was great experience for me, Now my references are great. I have CPR/AED ,first aid, and my fire card. I thought I interviewed well, I was at at Job fair and made it to the second round, I was happy only later after taking some test that they would not be hiring me, but to come back in 6 months, a much older later took the same test she had no certification, no cpr, nothing and she got the Job. what is the deal with that???? I'm really depressed now, and homeless, I am a hardworking. I don't understand Los Angeles. I guess all that hard work in keeping your CEU's and other documents up to date means nothing here. So it's really saddens me to hear when someone who just got out of CNA classes, got hired at Cedar Sinai hospital. Wow!!! any good advice so I don't go jump off a mountain (just kidding)
