I'm currently an RN student finishing my 1st year of nursing school with only one more year left. I'd like to take the CNA certification exam without taking a CNA program since I'm already in nursing school. Does anyone know how to go about doing this?

Certification of Nurse Aides in Long-term Care Facilities, Long-Term Care, NJDHSS
In NJ, if you have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course (it might be called Med/Surg I at your school) then you can challenge the CNA exam. You submit the required information to the address listed on the website, and they will send you a testing ticket.
You can then use that ticket to register to challenge the exam at a community college, vocation school, or whatever agencies in your area that will allow you to challenge.Apollo85 likes this. -
