Aug 27, '12I passed my CNA exam in 2009! I've been working as a CNA since then at both a nursing home and more recently home health care!!
Working as a CNA has helped me decide whether or not I want to become a nurse... I suggest that anyone who has doubts on becoming an RN or anyone who is unsure if it's the right career for them, take a CNA course and work as one for at least a year!
I start nursing school in January of 2013! I'm extremely excited and very fortunate that I was able to get a hands on experience before I made my decision to become an RN!
Good luck to all of you and congrats on finishing your CNA course!!! -
Sep 1, '12I passed on Thursday and have a job all lined up for when that license number comes through! Nervous and excited!

Sep 1, '12Just passed my skills test on August 15th, and just got hired at a nursing home five minutes from my house... Needed this to get started as I am taking my last perquisite class before my nursing clinical starts this January. Got laid after thirty years in the IT logistics field and can't find a job anywhere even after sending out over 200 resumes. Yes I am a 50 year old male trying to re-invent myself... Fingers crossed that this goes well and good luck to everyone else!
