Renewal Requirements

Is there a requirement for a Clin Spec to have a certain number of client contact hours in order to renew the CS license?

Actually, is there even a separate license for Clin Specs like there is for NP's?

What is the definition of practice hours/client contact hours?

Thanks!!

Which state are you talking about? Licensure requirements vary by state.

And then certification requirements are by ANCC. Per ANCC there is a minimum amount of pt contact as well as CEUs necessary to renew.

I believe it's 1000 hours of patient contact in the five years of certification, but don't write that in stone!
