i just graduated this week with my msn for acute care clinical nurse specialist. i will be sitting for my boards through the aacn (adult critical care cns). i don't know any cnss in my area and i'm finding very little study materials for the exam. does anyone have any recommendations for study guides, books, on line classes, etc. i want to be as prepared as possible. also, do any recent graduates who have taken the aacn exam have any words of advice? and has anyone used the mometrix study guide? i've never heard of it. thanks!

- Jan 4, '12 by traumaRUsI used the Mometrix exam materials for the Peds CNS exam I did in March. It is a concise guide - I found it helpful - that's all I really used.

The best resource for preparing for the exam is the exam handbook. http://www.aacn.org/WD/Certification...amHandbook.pdf In addition to the test plan (exam blueprint) on page 21, there is a bibliography list and a preparation resource list.
Best wishes on your future career. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me at AACN.
