Malpractice insurance for CNS?


Do CNS' have to carry malpractice insurance? How about NPs?

Yes, they do and yes, I do. Its more expensive than an RN but very very necessary.

I'd be looking into that soon if not sooner! Students of these specialty areas should have malpractice and are probably required to, in fact. Always carry malpractice on yourself, whether as a student, an LPN, an RN, MD, anything...in this out to sue everyone world we live in these days!
