a good book for critical care nurse

Hi,

I'm currently a nursing student and very intrested in the ICU. I'm trying to find a good pocket book that can further my education on critical care procedures, etc..
I've found one called AACN Essentials of Critical Care Nursing: Pocket Handbook, but i couldn't find in reviews on it so I figure maybe you might have a clue or any other recommendations.

Thank you.

I don't go anywhere in the hospital without my Fast Facts by Kathy White.

This is an excellent resource for as a quick reference. It gives you all the information you need to know at that moment. However I do not recommend you use this as a replacement for an actual all inclusive ICU book. This is just a way to get the information you need while you're at the bedside.
