I HAVE BEEN CERTIFED AS A CLINICAL SPECIALIST IN COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING SINCE 1995. I GRADUATED RUTGERS. I WAS DIRECTING R.N.'S AT A NURSING AGENCY FOR MY LAST RECERT. APPLICATION SO THE BOARD ACCEPTED THAT AS CNS PRACTICE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE SEES POSITIONS ACTUALLY ASKING FOR ADVANCED PRACTICE-COMMUNITY HEALTH CNS. THERE ARE PLENTY OF SPECIFICS JOBS FOR NP.S. I HAVE YET TO SEE A POSITION ADVERTISED SEEKING COMMUNITY HEALTH AS A SPECIALTY FOR AN ADVANCED PRACTICE POSITION. THANKS.

You might try looking for other terms in the title, department or job description, such as Prevention, Preventive Medicine, Community Programs, community medicine, etc.
