To all CNS or anyone who knows about CNS

Hi there and welcome. I'm an adult health CNS. There are many options for CNSs. The true CNS role is that of an educator of nurses who are working at the bedside, combined with research and being a "change agent."

I work in chronic hemodialysis in the advanced practice role. That means that I assess, examine, prescribe and generally manage the medical care of the dialysis patients. I also do hospital rounds in two hospitals.

I have 15 years nursing experience and a masters degree in nursing and then I did the CNS as a post-MSN certificate. Hope this helps.
