    Is there anyone out there that is in a state where CNS is an APN, that also is focusing in the Specialty of Wound/Ostomy/Continence?

    My state the CNS role is advanced practice, also can prescribe.

    CNS seems like the best advance practice role for a CWOCN in a hospital setting. Anyone out there with their 2 cents for Advanced Practice CWOCN? NP or CNS role?

    I would be completing a DNP program and would like to work with Adults. End goal is doing patient consulting, leading a team of certified professionals and teaching staff, conducting research.

    Any Advanced Practice CWOCN want to help me out with some advice?

    I just spoke with an experienced CWOCN in my area who was a CNS who says they are phasing out the CNS role and she recommend NP instead.
