Acute/adult clinical nurse specialist Preceptor

I am also in the Liberty program as well in Liberty. There are a few things that you can do to make attempts to find a preceptor. What I did to secure a preceptor:

I contacted the Board of Nursing and got the list of APN's and contacted them by any form available to do so. I sent out emails and made phone calls and received approximately 25% return. Although no one agreed to precept me, they were able to direct me to some APNs that gladly agreed to do so.

Also, contact all of your facilities and you can start with their education and training department. I was very successful in this regard also.
