online rn to bsn chamberlain college

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

I am about to start an online rn to bsn through Chamberlain College of Nursing on march 1st 2010. I've read lots of reviews, more good than bad, so I decided to proceed. I am wondering if anybody out there has any new information about their own experience so far this year with the program? This is not my first online program, but wonder about the amount of hours weekly each course is taking??? I see that the school is accredited, but is the online program accredited also?? Is anyone else out there starting in March?

Specializes in med-surg.
I am starting Chamberlain as well with Transitions and possible 2 other classes. I'm trying to do the 12 classes in 2 semesters while working full time. I Need to know if I can buy used books for online classes or do I need the access code? Thanks in advance and let's all keep in touch!

Buy all used. :)

Rent the textbooks! I rented all of mine through chegg.com (there are other rental websites as well) and have never felt like I would have needed to keep any of them. The only book I've bought was the APA manual, which you will need constantly.

text.com is a great place to go for books if you are looking to buy.... looking forward to taking classes with all of you!! ORmom, you can do it, jump on this bandwagon!! We're all here together and can support each other!:yelclap:

Thank you guys! Work in a busy little OR in Massachusetts, just finished a long holiday weekend (12 hours a day). So decided to "jump in" faxed my acceptance papers back starting w/ NR 351 on my advisors recommendation. Feel the time is coming my hospital is going BSN only, proud of my ADN, proud to join u guys as well!

I'm hoping to start on Oct 24th too. I just got information about this college today and it seems very appealing. I was considering Grand Canyon University, but I read so many negative reviews I got worried. Has anyone else looked in to GCU? If so, am I making a good decision by choosing Chamberlain? Thanks!

Hi, Im also starting on Oct 24. I'm takeing NUR 351,SOCS350 AND HIMN303 .

I had a few questions about the Rn to Bsn to Msn bridge program at chamberlain....about how long does it take to get your Bsn if you do full-time....after that how long to get ure Msn if u do the bridge option they have of taking Msn classes while doing Bsn....any info will help thanks

Hello everyone!! I am also looking into getting my BSN through Chamberlain (RN-BSN) online and really want to start sooner than later. This post has been so encouraging! Can somebody please reassure me that the college is accredited and that when I decide to go to grad school around where I live, they will accept it and I wont have a problem? Thank you so much and gooduck to all!!!

Specializes in ER.

Just finished my Economics and Capstone!! I took two classes at a time and it took a year. I carried an A all the way ecept I think I'm gonna end up with a B in Economics. I bombed the mid-term and not sure about final but felt okay. The final is worth so much that you can have 100% all the way and change it drastically if you do poorly on it.

Specializes in med-surg.

Starting Into to the Humanities on the 24th, will be delivering somewhere in the middle of the course, should be interesting, lol

I suppose I will be bringing my laptop to the hospital!

Reading your experiences has really helped me. I am about to register for the 24th and have been holding back, hoping it is the right place for me.

Startng with Transitions and Econ. Who else is taking Econ?? Has anyone started with that??
