Chamberlain RN to BSN online program, July 2011 - Page 8

You can say I am about 3/4 of the way to complete the program. At first I was taking 2 classes at a time, took a break and now I am doing 1 class at a time. I have to say that the classes are not hard at all. Just very time consuming. If you follow the rubric to a "T" and post the thread discussions on time, you are garanteed to get an A. You will do just fine if you always stay on top of your work. It is not hard AT ALL. At least for me it hasn't been. - Apr 29, '12 by OzziaQuote from SN3RD\Hi Ozzia,

I, as well, am trying to go to Chamberlain this July 2012. I have submitted my application just today and will be taking the HESI test on Monday. Have you taken the HESI test? Was it hard? Anyways I hope to meet you so we can get together and motivate/support one another thru the program. - May 1, '12 by parjan4Hi ozzia,
I will also be starting in July 2012. I am excited and anxious to be going back to school at the same time. I work full time and have two kids. I am also wondering how truly difficult is the program and if it is something doable and still have time for your family and other duties. God willing we will begin this program and graduate with our BSN. Hope to keep in touch with any of the students starting July 2012 so we can be of support for each other. Any tips any of the from current students or graduated students will be greatly appreciated? What classes were the hardest, which ones should be taken together/separately etc? - May 5, '12 by OzziaI have not completed the application process..tuition scares me. What exactly is the HESI test?

Me and twenty of my colleagues (from just one department) are in Chamberlain now. Keeping that in mind, my Super Mega Magnet University hospital introduced us to Chamberlain ,and helps pay for about two classes a year.As of this writting, I have about four more classes to go.Beyond that ,Chamberlain is spread so far online until none of us ever meet when taking the same classes. More interestingly , I have so many more friends in the program and still never meet.As you can imagine,I do see friends and colleagues finishing the program all the time. Also, Chamberlain has there clinicals at my hospital for those that need it. As for me, I could have been finished but I don't want a student loan.
But more to the point, I have to admit that I love Chamberlain -so painless. I'm still in shock ! So,for instance, if getting your ADN was like being in a MMA match -Not so at Chamberlain. Don't get me wrong ,you have to be organized , computer ,Android/iPhone ,internet connection ,friends with Google Docs, have someone to proof read your papers, and do all of your "Posts" .Can't beat that. What's more , an experience like this will make you want to get the rest of the letters after your RN. You know -RN,BSN,MSN,...
Lastly, if any nursing student wants to gamble with a state and/or public school go right ahead and feel the pain.Again, I wrote , " Gamble ". I would want my own kids to got to Chamberlain. It's the way nursing school should be. - Jul 5, '12 by jegeei start july 9th and i work fulltime too.i heard theres alot of writing to be done.God help us
