Hello all chamberlain students, and hopefuls! I have been having a hard time getting in touch with my new advisor (my old one is no longer an advisor) so i am coming to you with questions!

My last advisor told me I must have 24 college credits in order to use my college GPA, and I don't so we were planning on using my high school GPA which is a 3.6-3.7ish (better than my college GPA). Well my new advisor sent me 1 very vague email saying this is not so and we cannot use my HS GPA. So now I am kind of freaking out, 1: because my college GPA is not too great and 2: MY ADVVISOR WONT CONTACT ME! On the chamberlain website it does say that in order to use you college GPA you must have 24 creedits so now IDK what to believe. Does anyone know? Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, if I apply now for the summer semester, and take a few classses that will transfer this semester at my cc (I still will not have 24 credits) will I have to reapply, or will my application that I already sent suffice?

Someone please help if you can, I am beginning to become desperate! Thanks in advance!

I am applying for a second degree BSN and so far I have sent:

1. My HS transcript

2. Official copies of my HESI A2 (if you applying for your first degree BSN they only need SAT or ACT)

3. Official transcripts from each college I went to

4. I also filled out additional documents they faced to me. (2 pages)

I hope this helps. I have been having a little trouble getting in contact with the new advisor. The holidays are coming up so everyone may be busy getting the January class settled.

Thanks for the reply, I finally got in contact with someone. Everything is still unclear though! It seems someone doesn't know what they are talking about. Ehhh I'm tired of being told two different things!! Oh well, hope I get accepted!

Are you applying for a second BSN? I thought next term started in may?

No for regular 3 year BSN. If I'm not mistaken, since they have shorter semesters, the next start date is March for the regular BSN. I could be wrong though, and it could be different for second BSN.
