Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

I feel your pain...when I went to the first meeting to get my academic plan, they had me graduating in 2014, then after I had actually started, it changed to 2015...smh

Exactly what happened to mine because I transferred in 67 credits. I was November 2014 possibly September 2014 now its march 2015. ughhhhh. Im scheduled to take chem and ethc next session.

OMG...67 credit and you graduate in 2015? I take my last class in March 2015 so I guess that puts me in May 2015.

Yes 67 it's a lot. That's why 2015 don't seem right to me

Me either!

Is Chem 120 a pre requisite to NR 226. That catalog book with the classes in doesn't say it is but advisor says it is. Just wondering if anybody else knows???

Im not sure

Chem 120 is a prereq to NR 224 and NR 302. And you have to take those classes before NR 226. NR 226 is your first clinical, so all your basic sciences should be done.

I started in Sept and I'll be done Nov. 2014. The way the classes are set up, you really can't change your schedule around too much. That's because they don't offer every class, every session. They alternate the classes. For example, if Pharm is available the January session then it won't be in March, it'll be available again in May.

I would advise everyone to double check your credits and make sure you have 129 at the end of your session. I went back an add up my credits and they only had me graduating with 125. I was missing Chem. I would definitely start with that. I will not be finish until September 2015. I guess that will put me at graduation for December. The way it looks like they will be having 2 different graduation ceremonies: May and December. Have anyone heard about a graduation schedule?

Got it now... lol will be patience and i believe God will see me through.
