Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

@imreadyruready I guess we had orientation together. I didn't see you though. I was one of the girls that stood up and was asked what my favorite song was. What are you taking this term?

It was long almost fell asleep near the end. Lol. At first we heard info fron the campus pres,student services, the CAS team, and clinical coordinators. We signed up for clinical compliance orientation got our badges and we were finished by 6:30.

Yeah we did the same today was too long. Did any of the first cohort student talked about the program last night? We had a girl called stephanie she was quiet helpful and nice. She explained how to study and where to go whenever you need help reading notes.

Yea she was there with us last night too. She was very helpful and made think about how I will approach these classes. Im going to have to get creative and use your resources...and pray!

Yes dear, Prayer is where the action is now our text book should be our social life... I will pray and study very hard. I know with God all things are possible he wont let us down.

@angelgh yes maam no social life for me....work work work!!! Do you think its a good Idea to buy a different edition of the textbook they want us to use? I seen the 6th edition of Health promotions through the lifespan at barnes and nobles for $4.54! lol

hahaha buy it and see how it goes. Most of the time is the same information with little updates. Stephanie said earlier that class is all about research papers so don't think the new edition would matters. Go ahead and purchase that, also get closer to your team so you can borrow when certain pages is different.

It was very informative. We met with the school president******, student services, Center for Academic success (CAS), and Clinical coordinators. They pretty much stressed how important time management is in the program and not waiting too late to seek help if needed.Are you starting in January?
