Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

Thanks for your honest opinion. Yea I was thinking the same, I really want to take it on campus. Guess I'll have to wait till March because I'm not getting a good feeling about taking it online.

Has anyone started clinicals? If so how is it?

@Teah8177 which course are you taking online?

Critical thinking.

It sucks not being registered for my classes yet! I haven't even done my background check and drug test. When do we have to have our immunization records shown? I'm assuming at clinical compliance. Or there after, but obviously before clinicals.

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive your books if you order thru the school bookstore?

I assuming shot records would be right before clinicals but, if you can get them ready now, do it to get it out of the way, it will save you a lot of time.

It takes about 5 days.

You should hear from your admissions advisor soon to complete your background check and drug test, until then you wouldn't be able to register for classes. As far as clinical compliance documents, if you' begin in semester 1 or 2, you'll have 16 weeks from your start date to have your clinical documents completed and sent in. If you begin in semester 3, then you have 8 weeks from your start date. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks, have you ordered your books yet.

I have an appointment set up with my student services advisor already for the 27th to register for my classes so that much I know. I was jus wondering when immunization records had to go in. I think I am starting in semester 3 because I am taking nr101 nr222 and that philosophy class. Then after that I will begin in the year 2 classes. So I guess I will have 8 weeks? Because I think fundamentals begins after this if I am correct??
