Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

@Mindyydnm... Will keep in touch and I will update you once I start in January. Congratulations once again, time goes by so fast, you will be done with the program real quick.

There was like maybe 5-10 word problems that was very simple. Here is the breakdown. I am pretty sure this is the layout. Each section is not timed. You have 5 hours to complete the entire test. Be mindful if you get up to use the RR, time is still ticking. I remember having like 5 questions about the body plains. Just remember about ratios/prop. Know how to add fractions and percentages. Hopefully this will help.

55 Math

55 Reading Comp.

55 Grammer

55 Vocab.

30 A&P

30 Chem

30 Bio

30 Crit. Thinking

15-30 Learning Style(Not Sure about the # of questions)

@Teah...Sorry to keep coming with the questions, I just want to make sure I'm studying only what is needed. Also, do you remember how many conversion questions were there and the type??? Thanks Again girl :)

Hello to all my name is Shantil and I have been stalking this thread. I hope to meet with an advisor on Monday about the program. Has anyone started clinicals so far. Can someone tell me what all the prereqs are. I've taken quite a few with the exception if Micro and Stats. I will complete these in Jan. I think I've read somewhere about Patho is this a prereq?? Is Intro chem good enough or is a second one required?? Thx in advance for answering my questions.. :)

No problem. I am the same way. LOL. I think it was like 10 questions. grams to mg. Stuff like that. Know the conversion table.

Does anyone know if Patho is a prereq??

Beckyv-If you don't mind me asking how were you able to pay your tuition. I am beginning my research on this school and seriously considering applying, but the tuition scares me. I have some courses that should transfer which I hope brings my cost down. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Out of pocket is out of the ? for me and I may not qualify for FA. I also want to thank everyone for allowing people to get an idea of the process by posting your experience so far on this site.

Hello All! I am taking my HESI exam Friday the 26th. I'm a tad bit nervous about it, but I am studying the guide and so far I'm feeling good. I am VERY nervous about the combining of all the transcript grades as I didn't do my best at some of the colleges I attended, but all A's and B's in my healthcare science courses : ). I hope and pray to join a few of you who got into the January program. I wish you all well and congrats to those who are in!!!
