    I asked the same thing in another thread... I know it's basically a last resort loan... The cap is 20000, it's 12% annually. No matter how much you take out the minimum payment is $80/ month and payments start 30 days after disbursement.

    I need to take this out Bc I have tried for private loans with multiple cosignorr and all denied. So ugh, not excited

    So u didn't get any financial aid besides the Chamberlain loan and how much are ur school fees all together

    I got a 100% financial aid (pell grant), 100% subsidized and unsubsidized, that leaves me with about $4000-5000 out of pocket, I.e. private loans (chamberlain loan). I think the total is about $25,000 this year- I'm transferring in 38 credits... I should only have 2 yrs and 4 months.

    I haven't done the chamberlain loan but out of pocket is close to 4000.00 out of pocket......I only transfer 24 credits and my time is almost that just two months longer.......

    Congrats and goodluck!! I will be at the Chicago campus.

    I am so stressed about the loans... I talked to my brother who is an accounts major at depaul and he guided me through this.

    I mean its a stressful thing at least it was for me, as I was not sure how much I was going to get and believe me I thought my out of pocket was going to be way more than what it was.....well congrats to you as well.....what classes do you have first?

    You have 30 days from the date you pay the fee to take the test....if you did the app you may want to inquire about a date by calling them to get the ball rolling...

    Session 1: math 114, nursing 101 and Nursing assessment,
    Session 2: speech 101, patho 1, i think philosophy.
