Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

@ Teah Ok Thanks! I'm looking into scholarships as well.

@ REECIEcup19 How many credits do you usually take every 8 weeks? In previous threads I read that the most one could take was 9 in every 8 weeks?? Please clarify Thanks!

I've taken around 6 or 7 so far. The most you can take is 9 per session which is 18 per semester. You can't take more than 18 credits in a semester.

@ Akilah for financial aid after loans and pell grant; will you still have to pay out of pocket? Didi you apply for any scholarships? Just hoping that everything works out where I don't have to pay out of pocket.

So far nothing out of pocket for me. As far as the max....I'm not sure but I know they will work your schedule so u will get the max amount if aid available

Hi guys I just came across this accreditation page online. Check it out and let me know what you think.

When I type in chamberlain.edu/mynextsteps nothing comes up. Can someone assist me plz. I'm trying to review the checklist. It says I have till Dec, 14 to complete them all.

Hey everyone I spoke with my advisor yesterday and 57 of my credits transferred. I have my meeting next Wednesday, where I will go over all my classes and receive my schedule.

@ MissFutureBSN That's Awesome!! Did you already take Path and a few nursing courses?

Yes I have taken patho but no nursing classes just all perquisites. I was a nursing major previously but wasn't accepted into the program at the school I attended.

That sounds similar to my situation. I transferred from Brenau because I couldn't pass the Kaplan for their program. Still need to take patho though. It seems that there curriculum has a few pre reqs such as Logic & Critical thinking, Economics and SOCS 350 mixed in with the nursing courses, so this will be interesting.

im trying to get in for january at the jacksonville campus. im stressing over these conversions for the HESI. I have a review book but it doesnt give much practice for conversions so I just had to print out a crap load of worksheets. I'm so nervous to take this test on the 10th.

@ slangley09 Please don't stress over this exam. It honestly wasn't hard at all. For the conversions just remember the house hold measurements that were on the chart. Temperature conversions were't used at all. What is it exactly that you don't understand???
