Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

Thank you. I know Chamberlain is awesome and has many resources but Gordon college is literally down the street from where I live. I currently don't have a car so my sister (who is in Gordon now) has agreed to work it out where she will help me get to my classes. I want to squeeze in as many transfer credits while I can while my free ride and babysitter is offering :D

Yes work smarter not harder. I transferred everything I could to lower my cost I'm very happy I did that. Have you tried getting into any program.

Like what? A nursing program?

Hey,

I applied for Chamberlain Atlanta. I made 78% on HESI and my GPA is 3.1. What are my chances of being accepted?

Does anyone know what ebook is needed for the NR-101: Transitions in Nursing course or the NR-222: Health & Wellness course?

You'll most likely get in. I'm not an advisor, but I do know that Chamberlain accepts almost everybody. You will have to prove yourself to stay in. My classmates and I say that it is easy to get in, and hard to stay in.

You won't need anything for NR 101, and for NR 222 you will need the Fundamentals of Nursing book. You can find it on Amazon, or get it printed by the school.

I sent you a message about this

For anyone in the accelerated BSN program at Chamberlain in Atlanta what are the hours and number of days you normally attend classes and/or clinical? I know the amount of days and hours will vary from semester to semester depending on the classes you're currently taking. Is it like normally 3 or 4 days per week or do you go 5 days per week? Also are any of the clinicals far away from Chamberlain college or are most of them relatively close to the school? Thanks in advance! Congrats to all those who've managed to get into the program...

I know it varies from semester to semester but how many days per week do you generally have class/clinical and what are the hours like? Thanks in advance!

Hey Sharelle,

The classes are about 3 to 4 days a week, depending on your schedule. If you have to take Gen Eds, you might have less or more, depending on if you take online classes. I'm in the advanced nursing classes now, and have class two days a week (7:30-3:30) and then clinical is one day as well. At first your clinical is from 7a-3p, and then they will be 12 hours once you are in adult health (med surg).

Best thing about Chamberlain is that there are no Friday classes.

Thanks for replying so fast! Are all the general education classes offered online? I have an Associates degree in General studies at another school so I know I should have some credits transfer over but I'm sure I'll still need to take some classes with Chamberlain. I would like to take the remaining general education courses online if possible.
