There is a ton of great information there. As far as do CRNAs get to do a lot of procedures....that depends on one's practice setting and other factors. Just because somebody at the head of the table looks like a physician, does not mean they are a physician.

Of course CRNAs do cases, but I do agree that a lot depends on the practice setting. I am independent practice in an office setting where I determine my own fees and do my own cases. How much I make is a personal issue, which I will not share here. I will tell you that my income is low compared to the responsibility I have. Also, it is important to understand that I am a businessperson, so my income depends on the quality of my anesthesia and my availability. Anesthesia is much different than other types of nursing, more responsibility, more opportunities for independence and the chance to be a businessperson.
