University of Michigan? Ann Arbor

by mrreah

Do any of you work there? How do they go about posting jobs for CRNAs, what are their needs, is it a good place to work?

Any info is appreciated!!

I'm not sure where you live, but if you know anything about this part of the country you know how bad the economy is. There are limited job opportunities in all of nursing, and I can't imagine that not being the case with that field either.

On top of that, it's a great hospital and hasn't really had many job postings at all the last year or so (you can check for the amt. of old postings on the Jobs page) in the RN or CRNA fields. I know the hospital as I worked there as a Tech up until July in an ICU while going to an ADN program (I couldn't get an RN ICU position so left the hospital system to continue my goals toward becoming a CRNA).

Let me know if you need further info.
