Top 10 things I learned in anesthesia school


Top 10 things I learned in anesthesia school. Thanks go to DH for this post.

1) Decadron is not the leader of the decepticons.
2) Pancuronium cannot be used to make weapons of mass destruction to blow up nurse anesthesia school.
3) Propofol has a MAC when use with the TEC seven lipid vaporizer.
4) What the f*** does scopolomine do again!?!
5) Low dose epi....beta 2 effects only....riiiiight.
6) Big bugaboo=Bad side effect
7) If anesthesia school were a drug its class would be an anti-relationship drug and its MOA would be direct stimulation of the dont ****ing touch me right now I have another exam receptors.
8) Make sure you have a bottle of halothane available at all times for the
treatment of bronchospasm or IHSS (I hear if you just throw it in the intake of a bair hugger and put it over the patients face it works like a damn dream).
9) If you are having trouble starting an IV on your peds patient remember that a
needle or finger in the *** is so much less traumatic.
10) SEE exam $110

just when i think i have spent it all....they could at least pay for the boards ONCE....i mean at 32,000.00/yr - come on....
