TCU Interview last monday

My interview went very well and I think I have a really good chance at getting in. My question is I don't have organice chem or any physics background, do I really need a class in either or will I get what I need in the program.

I don't have much of one either, but as you know I got in. I am going to audit a basic chemistry class this semester at a local community college just to refresh. I have heard that is all you really need. I have heard all the physics that you need you will get in the program. Let me know as soon as you find out if you get in. It will be soooo exciting. Don't forget to turn in the clinical site paper. I hear if you pick an area outside of Ft. Worth your chances really go up. Where are you going to pick??? Good luck!

Tulsa, you know they said the only reason I did not get in last year at the beginning of my interview was that i had only selected Tulsa and they gave every indication that I was already accepted but did not come right out and say that. They even talked about my rotation to El paso and not getting my 401 k out to use for loans but still did not come right out and say hey your in. HOpe to see ya in the fall. GC

Good luck with the results of your interview. I am RRNA in TCU's Charter Class. I have about 1 year left...this is the best professional decision I've ever made. If you feel you are "rusty" in general Chemistry, it won't hurt to take a refresher. You are expected to be familiar with General Chemistry, and the class is lectured/tested @ that level. Organic Chemistry is taught from square 1, so no need to really take any Organic classes in preparation...unless your just dying to take Chem. classes in your spare time! I had Physics I and II prior to starting, but do not feel it helped me much? Just some food for thought. My advice...rest up and enjoy your family and friends now. You won't have much opportunity to do it when class begins! Again, good luck and congratulations...GO FROGS~

That's exactly what happened to me. They did everything but come out and say I was in. I think it's looking really good for you!
