So excited...got a scholarship

by AmiK25

Ok guys! I just had to share with everyone that I got my scholarship letter today and I will be receiving 85% of my out-of-state tuition paid!! I thought I would get a scholarship but I didn't know it would be so much and for out-of-state tuition (double in-state so that is huge!!). It looks like my actual tuition for the year will only cost about $3000 (there will be fees and other stuff, of course). I am just so excited that I had to share it with everyone...now we can take out fewer private loans to pay for expenses! Anyone else going to UC find out about their scholarships?

By the way, to anyone looking at Ohio CRNA programs I definitely recommend looking at UC...they say that almost all SRNA's get a scholarship of some sort.

Now the bad news...I also received a CD-ROM telling me to study for pathophysiology over the summer

Thanks for listening,
Ami

Yea for you! I'm still waiting for my financial aid report from my school. Though I'm expecting to take out loans for the cost of school.

Ami,

I got an 85% scholarship also. The good news is that that scholarship is from the University, but not the College of Nursing. They also give out scholarships. If you haven't already done so, you need to go to the College of Nursing scholarship page,
http://www1.nursing.uc.edu/Scholarsh...arshipHome.htm,
and fill out an online application by June 30th to be considered for these scholarships. Hopefully, there will be more $$$ coming our way!!
