Shadowing Experience in St. Louis, MO

I went to Des Peres hospital to follow a CRNA so I could know what I would be doing if this was to be my chosen career path. The CRNA was rude, and would not answer any of my questions. He had a student with him as well. This guy was vulgar, talking about women in awful ways, blow jobs and gay sex. I think he was gay. Now I can see joking around in the OR, but this was over the top. He kept talking about the doctors not being CRNA friendly, well no wonder. This dude was highly unprofessional. The other CRNA’s kept saying, “you poor thing” to me and the student. I asked one of the other CRNA’s if I could go with them instead of the one I was with, but this unprofessional creep had to o.k. it, and of course refused to do so, I just left. I can’t believe the hospital keeps him on staff.
