I understand that the colleges want at least 1 year in ICU or ER. How many here actually got in with the minimum?

Or, what is the average stay in one of these dept.'s that you had?

18 months MICU when I interviewed. 2yrs step-down unit before that.

2 people in my class got in with just the absolut minimum time required.
