I'm applying to a couple of anesthesia schools (5) and have been working on my personal statement for the past two weeks but can't seem to get it finalized. The schools are basically asking, " What are my educational goals and professional goals or what do I expect to get out of becoming a CRNA." I want my statement to stand out - but when I read it.... to me it just sounds like I want to become a CRNA because I like it.... pretty dull and not very impressive. I would appreciate any suggestions - Thanks.

I started mine off with a personal story about meeting a CRNA and how it made me become a nurse...... and a bunch of other stuff. I think there is a copy of it on my blog or here on this site somewhere. Take a look.
