PDA tracking software

Does anyone know where one might find PDA software to track your cases/AANA requirements? I have heard this is available but don't know where to start.

I have a class on it this week. If I find out it is available to the public, which I think it is, and let you know if it is worth it to buy. However, i'm not sure myself yet.

Medatrax came to us. You have no idea of the amount of information you will be required to keep up with if you do not purchase this program. No one opted out in my program. They have a web-based system for entering information and also PDA programs that allow you to enter the information onto a template and then the PDA syncs when placed in the cradle of your computer.

I prefer to keep my palm out of this and simply do it on the internet.

For my program we are required to buy a PDA and use the Medatrax software to track our cases. However, the school is providing the software, so I don't know if it is available to the public.

Medatrax supplied the CD software when they visited us.

It also shut down a brand new T3 Palm - that was the nicest one in 2004.
So be careful. Two hard starts later I deleted it off the Palm.

We are using Medatrax also. I'm impressed with the case logs, but the evaluations and care plans I would rather do on my laptop or PC. It's useless to finger a care plan in a PDA, and the feedback on evaluations will simply be check, check, check, and no comments, which I think sucks. just my opinion though. we'll see as time goes on.

We use Medatrax at UNCC and had to pay for it. $147 total for 29 months. I track cases on my PDA (Dell X-50), but do evaluations on the PC. We are not doing careplans through them. Here is the invoice for the case tracking portion:
Medatrax Case Records
Period of invoice: 8/23/04 - 12/31/07
Fee Rate w/evaluations: $ 4.00 per month
# of Months: 29
# of months adjusted to 24

Sub total $ 96.00
