North Carolina HB503 is officially dead

News from Raleigh is that the House has adjourned and the supervision bill is dead. It was never read on the floor. Great job to all those CRNAs and SRNAs that worked very hard so that the House Reps heard our objections.

Man you gotta love CRNAs and their abilities to get things done. I envy and respect those that have gone before me with all the work. This is one SRNA who will be writing additional checks to AANA or state CRNA groups when I graduate. (in addition to the annual dues).

WOOOO-HOOOO!!

Thanks for this great news, Skipaway.

Here's hoping Hoop jumper's attitude spreads like wildfire throughout the nurse anesthesia community. Believe me, victories like this don't happen all by themselves. It takes money and work and committment and more money.

Attentive vigilance protects your patients AND your profession.

I guess my repeated phone calls and letters (in the midst of studying and clinical) were worth it after all. Thanks to everyone out there for all the support!!! We did it!
