Job Search and Benefits Question?

A question to all you seasoned job interview savy CRNAs out there. I still have a little over a year left in my program and some questions about potential jobs have begun to pop-up. I have been lurking around the gaswork website to see what is reasonable for one to expect and it has raised even more questions such as 1) I assume the more malpractice insurance they provide the better but the amounts differ quite a bit. What is an adequate value of malpractice insurance and an adequate aggregate. Some vary by several million dollars and am curious how big a factor this should be in a comparing several otherwise similar job postings. 2) Other jobs have a minimum and maximum W-2 salary and a value listed. In general terms, is THIS NUMBER the number of hours worked times hourly wage or salary OR does minimum W-2 salary include yearly wage plus the value of any perks (paid malpractice, etc). Just curious where the line is drawn between actual salary and benefits package.

It seems to me that minimum W-2 salary is the amount of money you are paid for the hours worked. Extras like paid malpractice insurance, family coverage insurance, and CE stipend and travel allowance should not be included as W-2 salary and would be considered part of the benefits package.

I know there are variables because of location, need, etc. but if anyone could provide some insight in general terms it would be greatly appreciated.
