Is it possible for CRNAs to specialize in a specific surgical specialty, such as cardiac/ open-heart surgery? If so, what is the process to become specialized?

Do a couple of years in general practice and then you can sub specialize in different areas. CT and Peds are common, full time sub-specialties. Neuro to some extent as well, although you might find that specialty is more of a part time sub-specialty, along with trauma in a lot of places. There are exeptions obviously.
