I Need Money For Crna School!!! Heeellllppp

by hojimma

Guys,
I have been accepted to Wolford College in Naples, FL (can you say expensive to live!!) I start this October and I am in serious need of help finding financial aid for school

1)What scholarships are best to apply for (Are their any for minorities?)

2)Is it best to sign with a group or hospital?

3)ANY loans that you are aware of to apply for?

talk to the financial aid person at you school. They will tell you how much you can get usually around 18500 from the government. Since that usually only covers tuition you can apply for grad plus loans. When I started school I looked for scholarships but didn't find much. You can sign try on with a hospital but may be able to find a better deal with you get out of school. Whatever you do, don't plan on working. GOOD LUCK!

the Federal Stafford Loan allows you to borrow up to 20,500 per year. It is not based on credit, but financial need. After that try a HELP loan for grad students, and definitely contact your financial advisor at school to help you. If you are interested you could also join the Army reserve and get a $1300/month while you are in school in addtion to a 50K payback of your loans

Thank you so very very much. I am very excited about starting school again. And I appreciate you taking the time to welcome me to the program.
Please if you have the time can you answer some questions for me:

How are classes going for u right now?

What helped you get through your first semester?

Looking back, what do you feel you would have done different to make things easier for you starting out?

ANY RANDOM HELPFUL INFORMATION YOU MAY WANT TO GIVE THAT WILL HELP ME-------FEEEEEELLLLLLLL FRREEEE.

Like most folks might suggest, try the Federal loan programs or scholarships that might be available. Otherwise, I would depend on Stafford loans. There are subsidized (interest free) and unsubsidized (non-interest free) Stafford loans. You shouldn't have any problems using Stafford loans since you can borrow into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Also, look at this way... You have to have money to make money; and if the only thing that's keeping you back is some money, then be thankful for the availability of these loans. It's certainly worth the debt since you'll be making enough money to pay it all back in no time. And, if you do come out with hefty debt, you can consolidate your loans into very reasonable payments.

Good luck!
