I got an interview!

I just got a letter yesterday from Mount Marty granting me an interview for the end of the month. I feel fairly comfortable on any clinical questions they might ask and I am working on any potential "personal-type" questions they might ask.

First, has anyone interviewed there? Details, please

Also, I have gathered from this board, most schools ask you questions regarding your support system/financial plan. Of course I plan on being completely honest, but does it sound bad to say that your financial plan involves mostly loans? I am single, no dependents, but not enough saved to pay tuition and live for 2 and a half years.

Default Congrats!!!
Congrats Java!!! Let us know how it goes.

I don't think it sounds bad to say loans are going to be a big supply to your finacial well being while in school. I think they just want to know that you are prepared for the financial hardships of going to school, not working, and still having to pay the bills. This should not be a big stressor while in school.

Federal probably won't be able to cover it all, but should cover all of your tuition and books, depending on the tuition of the school. I know that allowances are increased if the tuition is higher. We just had to take some privates to round things out.

Again, CONGRATS!!!!!!!

Does anyone know...If you take out the 30K in private loans for undergrad can you take another 30K out for grad school?

Good luck in the interview!

I think there is a total cap but it is pretty high, I want to say around 100K for govt. Loans. ( I think it depends onn school, costs and profession.) Check with the FA department, or go to the Fin Aid site online. They will give you an exact amount.
Plus, you can also get private loans as well.
