How did you support a family & CRNA school?

I am planning my path from ADN to CRNA. I have 2-3 years till I apply. I do not want to take away from my 3yo and wife to do this but I know it will be worth it. I need to hear from you how you funded your family/school through CRNA school.

Only 2-3 years from ADN to CRNA? How far along on BSN are you? Most successful applicants to CRNA school have at least 3 years in critical care before they are accepted. Are you working in this area now? Funding? I think it would be pretty hard to wrok while going through CRNA program. You'll need lots of time for studies and clinicals. I would plan to live on wife's income and student loans, and credit cards if you have to. Agree, it would be worth it in the end. Good luck!

Most people just do loans and savings to get through school. You can also consider HPSP.

I am in a cardiac unit now. I will be done with my bsn in 3 semesters. I am planning ahead as if I get in the first year. I mainly want to plan ahead so I will be financially prepared.
