Help a rusty CNA!!!

Hi,
I start work as a CNA tommorow, and haven't worked as a CNA in a couple of years. I am rusty on what the normal ranges for blood pressure, respirations, pulse, pulse oxygen, and temperature are, and how long you take respirations and pulse for. I know this must sound really dumb of me, but I'd appreciate your help.
Thanks

bp: 90-120/60-80
pulse: 55-89
rr: 8-18
pulse oxygen?: pulse ox?: 92-100
respirations over a minute
pulse over a minute (or 30 sec and multiply by two) if you are using a pulse ox it will probably tell you the pulse...but always compare with feeling the pulse

these can vary depending on your patients...work closely with your nurses, they can help you...but there is never a dumb question...the nurses you work with may be crabby and short...but always communicate with them if you have a bad "gut-feeling" about anything.

being that this is a nurse anesthesia board not many folks here work with cnas...you can post other questions with some of your cohorts on the general nursing form.

good luck returning to work...make your patients dig you!

you start work tomorrow and you don't know this stuff ??? didn't you have to go through an orientation class ??? no offense, but that's a scary thought, sending you out on the floor and you don't even know normal simple hemodynamic ranges !!! the hospital you work at should have sent you through an orientation/basic skills class.
