I have recieved a phone call for my first interview. maybe my last.

when I got the call I skipped up and down the unit like a little girl. (if I can say that)

the interview is for PA hospital wich is attached to temple. has anyone heard anything or has anyone been to this program. I could use some interveiw pointers right now.

this mean I must have looked good enough on paper right?

matt.

P.s I am working on my avatar.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like very solid advice. My weakest aspect I think is selling my self with written word. I do much better face to face. I feel if I can get my foot in the door and have a chance to sell myself in person I increase my odds greatly.

School will also require writing for presentations, papers, research proposals etc. Get practicing, it is a valuable skill to persuade readers to accept your premise on paper. Everybody believes that they are better face to face. Start working on a new skill, it will be one of the first of many new ones you'll learn.

Actually, I've known that I have been accepted for almost 6 months (my program starts in january), so that, "world being lifted off my shoulders," feeling has passed. LOL.

At this point, I just can't wait to finish my last nursing shift. I just finished a set of 6 shifts, and I'm beginning to feel like nilespoc. "...nursing is punishing me for leaving."

Seriously though, my wife and I have been very busy in the last five months paying off the last of our debt, so we can become indebted again, and preparing for the move. I don't think I have any misconceptions about how difficult this is going to be. Being accepted was perhaps the easy part.

Fence- I have sent you several pm's and in them I gave you some information- Just thought I would let you know! KK
