Good Luck Class Of 2006!!!!!!

I am starting school this thursday, and I am about to burst at the seams with excitement!!!!! I know that excitement will soon change with the stress of school, but it will be well worth it! Good luck to all the beginning students. (& of course the not so new ones that have given us such great advice!!)

Believe me when I say that we need luck and prayers! I just finished the first week at twu and am learning the ropes. It's a lot to take in and you know it only goes faster from here.

I'm on my second week as well...
The statement that "There are 24 hours in a day", is becoming very much more important to me now...lol.

Good luck to you all as well!!

Thanks for the "luck" ... We officially started yesterday, but they gave us letures last Wednesday. I'm already beginning to feel what the term "informaton overload" is like. First exam is in 2 weeks in Chem/Physics so I'll be asking for some more good-luck wishes soon! Hope everyone has a great first semester ...

Good luck to everyone too. I am in the first week of my second semester. In fact just had my first day of orientation in the OR. Just remember to take a break once in awhile for sanity sake Once again good luck. I just finished chem/physics and are now starting Physiology, pharmacology and a more classes in between. YIKES.

Hang tough. Good news about being so busy is that it goes REALLY FAST!

I've had three days of orientation so far, ugh! Keeps creeping up on me that the real first day of class is tuesday without all this easy orientation and free food stuff,

Well, look at it this way folks: Whenever I get stressed out, upset, or overwhelmed I am gonna think about my last day in the unit. You know the one where your patient weighs 250+, is on 3+ gtts, has MRSA, and that good old tube feeding kicks in & 2 wks worth trys to come out in 2 hrs!!! THEN, you have to take the next admit which is a bad trauma from downstairs. The monitors are not working right, there are no techs, & the charge nurse is on her/his 3rd or 4th break!!! Oh, don't forget to chart restraints!!!!
SOOOOOO.........The future is bright!! Just think back & move forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!
